Gordonstoun

This long-established summer course captures Gordonstoun’s philosophy of internationalism and dynamic learning through challenge and adventure.

There are academic courses in EAL, Literature with Creative Writing, Computing, International Citizenship and Social Entrepreneurship. The summer school encompasses the Gordonstoun philosophy of internationalism and learning through challenge. As well as academic lessons there is a full programme of sport and creative activities and a six day "adventure programme" on the West coast of Scotland which includes climbing, abseiling and ocean sailing.  On Course 2, starting on 10th July, a golf programme is an alternative to the adventure days.  There is a very high staffing ratio with one member of staff for every three students.
