Sedbergh International Summer School

Sedbergh International Summer School offers a minimum of 15 hours of English tuition per week, delivered by experienced, enthusiastic native-level teachers who make lessons engaging, fun, and interactive. Lessons follow a project-based curriculum that promotes Active Communication, with speaking, listening, reading, and grammar skills continually assessed and improved.

Beyond the classroom, pupils joining English + Outdoor Adventure participate in a wide range of outdoor activities designed to build confidence, resilience, and leadership skills. They may find themselves kayaking across the stunning waters of Lake Windermere, scrambling through rocky ghylls, or abseiling down waterfalls—all under the guidance of expert instructors. Other activities include rock climbing, caving, orienteering, raft building, and fell walking. These challenges not only provide excitement but also foster essential life skills such as teamwork, problem-solving, and adaptability.
